    Homestead in Zavarzino
      Years of design - 2005

The project of homestead development and reconstruction in the village Zavarsino started with the design and construction of new summer kitchen with arbour on allocated site.

The owners wanted to combine outdoor kitchen and a guest house in one volume. The first step of the improvements project was the design and construction of a new two-storey building. This building has an arbour and kitchen on the ground floor and guest bedroom on the first floor.

Unusually, but the next step was a site comprehensive improvement. The site improvement project also includes design and construction of a double garage, a bath house with steam room and a wood-shed.
Landscape project includes organisation of garden, walkways, BBQ areas, pergolas, arbours, flowerbeds and alpinarium.

The reconstruction of existing old log house also played an important role. The project proposed to add the upper level and change the building style.

All buildings in the homestead are designed in similar contemporary style and decorated with stained timber and artificial stone. All roofs are covered with the metal shingles painted in terracotta colour. It promotes a complex perception of the homestead as a single space for the large family rest.
