This two-storey house with an
underground floor is constructed from circular pine bars and
decorated in traditional Russian style with elements of Art Nouveau.
The house is located in Zarechny village in an eastern suburb of
Tomsk.
The house is designed as a permanent residence for the family of 2-4
people.
The ground floor contains a living room, spare bathroom, cloakroom
and kitchen with dining area.
A U-shaped staircase leads from the spacious hall to the first
floor.
There are 3 bedrooms and a big bathroom upstairs. Two bedrooms have
entrances to the balcony.
The project also provides glassed-in verandah, which works as a
living space in the warm summer.
This house has a very compact but convenient plan with a fireplace
by the inside wall. All this make it very comfortable for living in
the cold Siberian climate.
The natural colours of wood and stone help the owners enjoy the
warmth of their family home. |
