    Conservatory & Garage Addition
      Year of design - 2006

  Floor Area - 125 m2

The clients bought an unfinished house.
The architect’s work was to design an addition of the conservatory, covered deck, double garage as well as a boiler-room and cellar in the basement.

The design complexity consists in coordination between existing doors/ windows heights and future construction of the roof and stained-glass conservatory. Also it was important to use common pit and a part of existing foundation.

Load-bearing walls are constructed from brick similar to the main house. Stained glass windows are made of aluminium with triple-glazing. The terrace has a translucent roof made of bronze-coloured polycarbonate. Basement facing is made of veneer stone.
