The house is located in a quiet historic
district of Tomsk city, which is famous for its wooden architecture.
The site was limited in space, but the clients wanted to have a
separate guest area in their homestead, where everybody could feel
at home.
The project provides a separate compact two-storey guest house with
a street access onto a quiet cul-de-sac.
The lower level of the house contains the open-plan living spaces,
including the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and
spacious staircase hall.
The upper level contains the private areas of the house – two
bedrooms and a quiet hall with a big balcony.
Most windows are facing the street, not on homestead site, that
creates privacy for guests and hosts.
The natural materials are in harmony with historical atmosphere of
the old wooden town. |
